Agenda:

  • 1. Consider awarding the contract for installing new water meters to Core & Main in an amount not to exceed $4,850,000, as recommended by the Superintendent of Water & Wastewater Management and the Town Engineer.

  • 2. Consider determining the land use and dwelling unit densities, pursuant to Zoning Code § 280-17(E)(4), for the proposed Foundry Square Planned Unit Development, as recommended by the Town Planner.
    This is the Town Board voting on density and size for the Foundry Square project at the Master Cleaners brownfield site on the corner of Rte 20 and Foundry Road.

  • 3. Consider approving the memorandum of agreement between the Town and the Police Benevolent Association, as requested by the Town Comptroller.

  • 4. Consider authorizing the Town Clerk and Town Supervisor to sign the Water warrant for $794,453.33, as requested by the Department of Water & Wastewater Management.

  • 5. Consider approving modifications of the 2024 adopted budget under NYS Town Law § 112, as recommended by the Fiscal Officer.

  • 6. Consider adopting a resolution authorizing the transfer of funds not to exceed $4,850,000.00 from the Water Capital Improvement Reserve (H17) to the Water Meter Replacement Capital Account (H42); as recommended by the Fiscal Officer.

  5. Consider adopting the Calendar and NYS Retirement resolution that establishes the Standard Work Day and Reporting for Madalyn DeThomasis, as requested by the Town Comptroller.

  6. Consider designating the Town Supervisor as the Town's representative at the annual business session of the Association of Towns, as requested by the Town Clerk.

  7. Consider approving new fees for the Transfer Station, as requested by the Superintendent of the Transfer Station.

  8. Consider scheduling a public hearing for December 10, 2024 at 7:15pm on a local law amending Town Code Chapter 225 (Sewers), as requested by the Superintendent of Water & Wastewater Management.

  9. Consider scheduling a public hearing for December 10, 2024 at 7:30pm on a local law amending Town Code Chapter A285 (Fees), as requested by various department heads.

  4. Consider authorizing the Town Supervisor and Town Clerk to sign the Collector's Warrant for water charges in the amount of $758,101.06.

  8. Consider approving modifications of the 2024 adopted budget under NYS Town Law § 112, as recommended by the Fiscal Officer.

  9. Consider adopting a resolution in favor of Small Business Saturday (November 30, 2024).

  10. Consider waiving the building permit fee for a shed removal at 1630 Western Avenue, owned by Congregation Beth Abraham, as requested by the Chief Building & Zoning Inspector.

  11. Consider increasing the current Hydrant Flow Testing fee of $500 to $1,000, as recommended by Superintendent of Water.

  • The Town Board will hold a Public Hearing at 7pm on the draft Town of Guilderland ADA Transition Plan. The draft is the result of an 18-month review, inspection, rating, and action plan for Town-maintained sidewalks, with the help of a consultant.  You can provide comments at the public hearing or online.  The draft ADA plan is also available for review at Town Hall and the Guilderland Public Library.
     
  • Presentation of the Town's Tentative Budget for 2025.
     
  • Consider approving modifications of the 2024 adopted budget under NYS Town Law § 112, as recommended by the Fiscal Officer.
     
  • Consider authorizing the Town Supervisor and Town Clerk to sign the Water Warrant in the amount of $177,375.69.

  • Consider approving amendments to the 2024 Town budget, pursuant to NYS Town Law § 112, as recommended by the Fiscal Officer.
     

  • Consider the permanent appointment of Octavia Turner to the position of Telecommunicator in the Police Department, as requested by the Personnel Assistant.
     

  • Consider the permanent appointment of David O' Hehir III to the position of Paramedic in the Department of Emergency Medical Services, as requested by the Personnel Assistant.
