  • 1. Consider approving the proposed settlement of the tax certiorari proceeding for 2024 brought by Vosburgh Corner Associates, LLC for an apartment complex on Vosburgh Road, with a total Town tax refund of $1,026.22.

  • 2. Consider approving the proposed settlement of the tax certiorari proceeding for 2024 brought by Guilderland Partners of Albany, LP for the Tractor Supply Store located at 2327 Western Avenue, with a total Town tax refund of $1,689.25.

  • 3. Consider the review and acknowledgement of the draft December 31, 2024 Single Audit of the Town's federal expenditures, as recommended by the Fiscal Officer.

  • 4. Consider scheduling a Public Hearing for Tuesday, June 3 at 7pm at Town Hall on a proposed local law to amend Town Code Chapter 177 (Flood Damage Prevention).

  • 5. Consider scheduling a Public Hearing for Tuesday, June 3 at 7:15pm at Town Hall on an application for an exception to the moratorium on certain residential development for proposed affordable and workforce housing at 6 & 10 Mercy Care Lane.

  • 6. Consider approving amendments to the Town's 2025 budget under NYS Town Law § 112, as recommended by the Fiscal Officer.

  • 7. Consider adopting the 2025 Standard Work Day and Reporting Resolution for the listed persons, as requested by the Town Comptroller.

Town Board Meeting

  1. Consider authorizing the appointment of James Marchena as a police officer, as recommended by the Chief of Police.

  2. Consider authorizing the flying of a PRIDE flag on a flagpole at Town Hall for the month of June.

  3. Consider authorizing the purchase of listed vehicles from the Fort Hunter Fire Department, as recommended by Central Garage.

  4. Consider awarding the contract for granulate activated carbon ($1.05 per bid unit price) and virgin activated carbon ($1.95 per bid unit price) to Carbon Activated Corporation, as recommended by the Superintendent of Water & Wastewater Management.

  5. Consider awarding the contract for a new Type I ambulance to Gorman Emergency Services, as the sole responsible bidder, in the amount of $326,273.00, authorizing the payment as outlined in the bid, and authorizing the transfer of the purchase amount ($326,273.00) from the Ambulance Reserve (R14) to the Vehicle Line (A3121-602600), as recommended by the Director of EMS.

  6. Consider awarding the contract for replacing furnaces at the Transfer Station to Beliveau Mechanical, as the lowest responsible bidder, in the amount of $22,660.00, as recommended by the Transfer Station Superintendent.

  7. Consider authorizing the Town Clerk and Town Supervisor to sign the Water Warrant in the amount of $530,670.83.

  8. Consider approving amendments to the Town's 2025 budget under NYS Town Law § 112, as recommended by the Fiscal Officer.

  9. Consider scheduling Household Hazardous Day for 2025 on Saturday, October 18 from 8am to 2pm at the Highway Department, as requested by the Transfer Station Superintendent.

  1. Consider adopting the resolution for the Standard Work Day for the positions of Gardener, Assistant Administrator of Parks & Recreation, Engineer, Office Coordinator, and Transfer Station Superintendent, as recommended by the Town Comptroller.

  2. Consider authorizing the Town Supervisor to sign the agreement with Park Playhouse, Inc. for the performances of Oklahoma! at GPAC this summer.

  3. Consider authorizing the Department of Emergency Medical Services to issue a request for proposals for the purchase of a new Type I ambulance and the transfer of funds for this purchase from the Ambulance Replacement Fund (R14), as recommended by the Acting Director of EMS and the Fiscal Officer.

Town Board Meeting

  1. Consider adopting the resolution for the Standard Work Day and Reporting for Anton Konev, member of Conservation Advisory Council, as recommended by the Town Comptroller.

  2. Consider accepting the proposed dedication of 15.7 acres from the Fort Orange Manor Homeowners' Association and authorizing the Town Supervisor and Town Attorney to sign any documents in support of the dedication, as recommended by the Town Attorney.

  3. Consider authorizing the Police Department to issue a request for bids for a used Ford SUV to replace an unmarked police vehicle in the Criminal Investigation Unit, as requested by the Chief of Police.

  • 8. Consider adopting a proposed resolution that establishes the standard work day for the job title of Payroll Specialist for determining days worked for NYS Local Retirement System, as requested by the Town Comptroller.

  • 9. Consider adopting a proposed resolution that approves the standard work day for elected and appointed officials, as requested by the Town Comptroller.

  • 10. Consider approving amendments to the Town's 2024 budget under NYS Town Law § 112, as recommended by the Fiscal Officer.
