Town Board Meeting

Agenda

  • 1. Consider adopting a SEQRA determination and local law that would rezone 64.85 acres from an existing 128.4-acre parcel, located at 6283 Farm Lane, from R040 (Residential Overlay) to RA3 (Rural Agricultural -- 3-acre minimum) for a proposed solar facility, as recommended by the Town Planner.

  • 2. Consider authorizing the Town Attorney to sign documents for the conveyance of the Town's interest in the old cul-de-sac at the end of Westmere Terrace and accepting the dedication of the new cul-de-sac, as recommended by the Town Planner.

  • 3. Town Board discussion only regarding a future moratorium associated with the Comprehensive Plan Update.

  • 4. Consider authorizing the Town Supervisor and Town Clerk to sign the Water Department's warrant, as recommended by the Superintendent of Water & Wastewater Management.

  • 5. Consider approving the expenditure of $1,237,541.00 from the Sewer Capital Improvement Reserve to fund upgrades at the Nott Road Wastewater Treatment Plant, as recommended by the Superintendent of Water & Wastewater Management.

  • 6. Consider authorizing the establishment and funding of the following capital projects, as recommended by the Fiscal Officer:

    • Capital Project Fund H40    Route 146 Multi-use Path and Bridge
    • Capital Project Fund H41    Nott Road Wastewater Treatment Plant upgrade
  • 7. Consider approving 2024 vendor overtimes rates for the Police Department, as requested by the Comptroller.

  • 8. Consider approving the appointment of Nicholas Crordelle as police officer, as recommended by the Chief of Police.

  • 9. Consider approving the provisional appointment of Stacy Tanner as Finance Clerk, as recommended by the Comptroller.

  • 10. Consider approving the permanent appointment of Scott Mosley, Sr. as Equipment Operator II, as recommended by the Transfer Station Foreman and the Personnel Assistant.

  • 11. Consider approving the draft 2019 Financial and Single Audit, as recommended by the Fiscal Officer.

  • 12. Consider adopting the proposed Fund Balance Policy, as recommended by the Fiscal Officer.

  • 13. Consider adopting the proposed resolution to establish an Environmental Protection Reserve Fund, as recommended by the Fiscal Officer.

  • 14. Consider adopting the proposed resolution to establish a Transfer Station Reserve Fund, as recommended by the Fiscal Officer.

  • 15. Consider adopting the proposed resolution to establish a Golf Course Reserve Fund, as recommended by the Fiscal Officer.

  • 16. Consider adopting the proposed resolution regarding the Golf Course Fund (ER), as recommended by the Fiscal Officer.

  • 17. Consider approving amendments to the 2023 Town budget, pursuant to NYS Town Law § 112, as recommended by the Fiscal Officer.

  • 18. Consider scheduling a public hearing for 7pm on January 16, 2024, on a proposed local law that amends the Town's Ethics Code, as recommended by the Chair of the Ethics Committee.

  • 19. Consider appointing the Town Supervisor as delegate on proposed resolutions to be considered at the Association of Town's 2024 Annual Business Meeting.

  • 20. Consider cancelling the Town Board's December 19, 2023 meeting.

  • 21. Consider scheduling the Town's 2024 organizational meeting for Thursday, January 4, 2024 at 7pm.

Supervisor's Update

  1. Launch of new Town website on Wednesday, December 6.

  2. Recent and future hirings and promotions in the Police Department.

 

This meeting of the Town Board shall be held at the Guilderland Town Hall Board Room, 5209 Western Turnpike Guilderland, NY 12084 and the public is encouraged to attend.

Members of the public may also watch the meeting on live stream on the Town website.

In addition, the public may listen and view the meeting on Verizon channel 34 and Spectrum channel 1303.
