This meeting will be held via Zoom with a Public Hearing held at 7pm:

Public Hearing: Consider extending the moratorium on digital programmable signs for six months until October 6, 2021.

Agenda:

  1. Consider authorizing amending the Town's 2021 budget as forth in the memorandum by the Director of EMS.
  2. Consider awarding bids for chemicals to the lowest qualified bidders as recommended by the Superintendent of Water & Wastewater Management.
  3. Consider scheduling a public hearing for April 20, 2021 at 7pm on a local law to provide for an apprenticeship program for certain municipal contracts.
  4. Consider approving the proposed settlement of the tax certiorari proceeding challenging the 2019 and 2020 assessments by Carpenter Village, LLC for apartments with a possible readjustment of $13,986.44 in Town property taxes as recommended by the Assessor.
  5. Consider approving the proposed settlement of the tax certiorari proceeding challenging the 2019 and 2020 assessments for Morgan Guilderland, LLC for apartments located at 461 Route 146, with a possible readjustment of $13,439.74 in Town property taxes as recommended by the Assessor.
  6. Consider approving the proposed settlement of the tax certiorari proceeding challenging the 2020 assessment for Brandle Ltd Partenrship for four apartment buildings located at 15 Van Evera Drive in Altamont, and Fairway Ltd Partnership for five apartment buildings located at 950 Altamont Boulevard, with a possible readjustment of $410.59 for Brandle and $407.99 for Fairway in Town property taxes as recommended by the Assessor.
  7. Consider adopting the proposed resolution, which makes a SEQRA determination of non-significance for the West Old State sidewalk and authorizes the Town Supervisor to sign Part 3 of the Short Environmental Assessment Form.
  8. Consider authorizing the Town Supervisor to sign the performance contracts for the 2021 Guilderland Performing Arts Center season.
  9. Consider authorizing the Town Clerk and Town Supervisor to sign the Collector's Warrant for the Water District for $153,734.91.

 

 

Town Board Virtual Meeting and Public Hearing

At this Town Board Virtual Meeting, held via Zoom, there will be a Public Hearing to consider adoption of the action plan of the Police Reform and Reinvention Collaborative Committee.  Executive Order 203 requires that the Town submit its adopted action plan to the Governor’s Office by April 1st

  • Consider authorizing the Town Supervisor to sign the Federal Transit Assistance Agreement with the NYS Department of Transportation for the purchase of a senior bus at an estimated cost of $146,195, with a Federal share of $116,956 and a Town share of $29,239.
  • Consider adopting the proposed resolution for Shared Costs and Responsibilities of Local Features associated with NYS Department of Transportation's construction of a proposed roundabout at Carman Road and Lydius Street.
  • Consider adopting the proposed resolution for Landscaping associated with NYS Department of Transportation's construction of a proposed roundabout at Carman Road and Lydius Street.
  • Consider approving the proposed settlement of the tax certiorari proceeding challenging the 2019 and 2020 assessments for Star Plaza, Inc. with a possible readjustment of $7,825.59 in Town property taxes as recommended by the Assessor.

 

Town Board Meeting and continued Public Hearing
on Proposed local law to amend §280-40(U)’s
Supplemental Regulations for Solar Energy Systems.

According to the public notice

a Public Hearing before the Town Board has been scheduled for April 21, 2020 at 7pm at the Guilderland Town Hall, Rte 20, Guilderland, NY on the proposed local law to amend Supplemental Regulations in Town Code 280-40(U) for solar energy facilities.  Pursuant to Governor Cuomo’s Executive Order 202.8, which bans large meetings due to coronavirus (COVID-19), and Executive Order 202.1, which suspends the Open Meetings Law, the hearing will be held electronically via conference call instead of a public hearing open for the public to attend in person. Members of the public may listen and view the meeting live on Verizon channel 34 and Spectrum channel 1303, on the Town website, and may dial (518) 579-3721 to participate in a conference call. Minutes of the hearing will be transcribed and posted on the Town’s website.
