Zoning Board of Appeals Meeting and
Public Hearing for Car Wash Sign Variance
As of today, there is only 1 item on the agenda for this Zoning Board of Appeals (ZBA) Meeting, but it's an important one!
At this meeting there will be a public hearing for the installation of 150 square feet of signage to identify Knockout Car Wash at 2123 Western Avenue. This is the car wash being built across from the Market 32 in Hamilton Square and SEFCU that was already granted zoning change and tax relief from the Guilderland IDA.
They are asking for variance for 3 times the allowed limit on square footage (50 square feet) and within the 20 feet from the street right-of-way line, as defined in Guilderland Zoning Code: § 280-26(E) Signs in BNRP, LB, GB, I, and IP Districts
