Public Hearings

Regular Meeting

1. Consider approving the draft December 21, 2022 Financial Audit, as requested by the Fiscal Officer.

2. Consider the appointment of Thomas ("TJ") Valletta as Superintendent of the Transfer Station, as recommended by the Comptroller.

3. Consider the permanent appointment of Paige Wilson as Clerk to the Justices, as recommended by the Personnel Assistant.

4. Consider the permanent appointment of Corey Franklin as an Emergency Medical Technician, as recommended by the Personnel Assistant.

5. Consider authorizing the Town Court to apply for a JCAP grant in the 2025-2026 grant cycle up to $30,000.00, as requested by the Clerk to the Justices.

6. Consider authorizing amendments to the adopted 2025 budget, pursuant to NYS Town Law § 112, as recommended by the Fiscal Officer.

7. Consider waiving the building fee relating to fire damage at 7055 Chandler Road, as requested by the Chief Building & Zoning Inspector.
8. Consider authorizing the Town Clerk and Town Supervisor to sign the water warrant, as requested by the Superintendent of Water & Wastewater Management.

9. Consider awarding the contract for replacing the fire sprinkler and dry pipe at the Western Turnpike Golf Course's clubhouse to North East Fire Protection Systems, Inc., as the lowest responsible bidder, in the amount of $58,365.00, as recommended by the Director of Golf.

10. Board discussion on whether to reduce the posted speed limit on Town roads from 30mph to 25mph.

Supervisor's Updates

1. Household Hazardous Waste Day 2025 Saturday, October 18 from 8am to 2pm at Highway garage

2. Drug Take Back Day Saturday, October 25 from 10am to 2pm at the auxiliary parking lot at the Guilderland Public Library.

Meetings of the Town Board are held at the Guilderland Town Hall Board Room, 5209 Western Turnpike Guilderland, NY 12084 and the public is encouraged to attend.
