Public Hearings

  • At 7pm a Public Hearing on the proposed bond resolution and order for the issuance of serial bonds in the maximum amount of $6,796,970 for improvements at the water filtration plant.
  • At 7:15pm Public hearing on the proposed Black Creek Run Country Hamlet (postponed and to be rescheduled for Tuesday, September 16 at 7pm)

Regular Meeting Agenda

  1. Consider adopting a proposed local law that rezones the parcel (3.1 acres) located at 2093 Western Avenue (Tax Map No. 52.02-1-17) from Business Non-Retail Professional (BNRP) to Local Business (LB) District.

  2. Consider adopting a proposed local law that rezones the parcel (0.31 acre) located at 1859 Western Avenue (Tax Map No. 52.09-1-37) from Business Non-Retail Professional (BNRP) to Local Business (LB) District.

  3. Consider adopting appropriate land use intensity and dwelling unit density, under Zoning Code § 280-17(E)(4)(b), for the proposed Mercy Care Lane planned unit development, as requested by the Town Planner.

  4. Consider the appointment of Jeff Valletta, as Director of Parks & Recreation Department, and Dan Haggerty, as Foreman in Parks & Recreation Department, as recommended by the Director of Human Resources.

  5. Consider the reappointment of Tracy Slupski, as a permanent member, and Nancy Klopfer and William Meehan, as alternate members, of the Board of Assessment Review, as recommended by the Assessor.

  6. Consider the reappointment of Heather Weinhold as Sole Assessor for the Town of Guilderland.

  7. Consider the appointment of Christopher Dorando as a member of the Tree Preservation Committee.=

  8. Consider adopting the proposed resolution establishing the Standard Work Day and Reporting for the listed officials, as requested by the Director of Human Resources.

  9. Consider authorizing an amendment to the adopted 2025 budget, pursuant to NYS Town Law § 112, to transfer $370,727.10 from the Highway Fund Balance (DB909) to Equip & Cap Outlay (DB909) to fund the purchase of a new snow plow truck, as requested by the Highway Superintendent and recommended by the Fiscal Officer.

  10. Consider authorizing the issuance of a request for bids to replace three boilers at Town Hall, as requested by the Building Maintenance Supervisor.

  2. Holiday Tree lighting ceremony

    Saturday, December 6 at 7pm near clubhouse at WTGC

    office Town tree and 20 trees for decorating

Meetings of the Town Board are held at the Guilderland Town Hall Board Room, 5209 Western Turnpike Guilderland, NY 12084 and the public is encouraged to attend.

Members of the public may also watch the meeting on live stream on the Town website.

In addition, the public may listen and view the meeting on Verizon channel 34 and Spectrum channel 1303.
