Planning Board Meeting

The agenda for this meeting of the Planning Board can be found here. There are 5 items for consideration:

  • 1818 Western Avenue. Site Plan Review for a Change of Use from Residential (Single-family) to Commercial (General Office) - Austin Taylor. The applicant is proposing to convert an existing residential dwelling to an office use on 0.19 acres of land located in the BNRP District.  The office will have two employees, with no customers coming to the location.
     

  • 2801 West Old State Road. Consideration of Concept Plan Approval for a 3 Lot Subdivision - Biernacki Property Management. Continued concept plan review from the May 25, 2022 Planning Board meeting.  The applicant is proposing a 3 lot minor subdivision (formerly a 4 lot proposed subdivision) of 6.56 acres of land located in the Single-family (R40) District.
     

  • 2711 Curry Road. DECISION ONLY. Consideration of Final Plat Approval - 2 Lot Minor Subdivision -  Athena Andrikopoulos. The applicant is proposing a 2 lot subdivision of 23.83 acres of land located in the R40 District.
     

  • 5095 Western Turnpike. DECISION ONLY. Consideration of Final Plat Approval - 6 Lot Major Subdivision - Thomas P. Della Rocca. The applicant is proposing a 6 lot subdivision of 4.7 acres of land located in the Single-family (R20) District. Lot sizes range from 30,028 square feet to 46,058 square feet.  An existing single-family dwelling is located on Lot 6.
     

  • MASTER CLEANERS BROWNFIELD SITE. 2304-2314 Western Ave. Foundry Square Planned Unit Development (PUD) - Guilderland Village, LLC. Consideration of Adopting a Sketch Plan Report.

    The applicant is requesting a Change in Zone from the Local Business (LB) District and Residential Overlay (RO40) District to a Planned Unit Development (PUD) District consisting of 285 multi-family units of which 10% (29 units) is proposed to be workforce housing and 5,000 square feet of commercial space in two 4-story buildings on 12.35 acres of land. The development site consists of 5 parcels, one of which is a NYS Department of Environmental Conservation Brownfield site. The Planning Board reviewed the sketch plan at the September 11th meeting.
     

Meetings of the Town Planning Board are held at the Guilderland Town Hall Board Room, 5209 Western Turnpike, Guilderland, NY 12084 and the public is encouraged to attend.

Members of the public may also watch the meeting on live stream on the Town website.

In addition, the public may listen and view the meeting on Verizon channel 34 and Spectrum channel 1303.
