Public Hearing

At 7pm to adopt Local Law No. 3 of 2022 which would repeal Local Law No. 4 of 2021 and allow cannabis retail dispensaries.

Agenda

1. Presentation by the applicant for the Black Creek Run residential development at 6250 Depot Road and School Road in Guilderland Center.

2. Presentation by Capital Energy Partners regarding the Town's renewal rates for electricity and natural gas and authorizing the Town Supervisor to sign renewals as recommended by the Town's consultant.

3. Consider authorizing the Parks & Recreation Department to solicit bids for improvements at the Guilderland Performing Arts Center and a new bathroom at Tawasentha Park.

4. Town Board discussion regarding the regulation of programmable digital signs.

5. Consider adopting the proposed resolution for mutual easements for a driveway and public use hiking trails as recommended by the Town Attorney.

6. Consider awarding the contract for grinding and removing yard waste at the Transfer Station to the lowest responsible bidder HGNS, Inc. in the amount of $4.50 per cubic yard as recommended by the Transfer Station foreman.

7. Consider scheduling a local hearing for May 17, 2022 at 7pm on a proposed local law to amend various notice provisions in the Town Code.

8. Consider approving the draft 2022 concession lease for the Tawasentha Pool and Guilderland Performing Arts Center as recommended by the Parks & Recreation Department.

9. Consider adopting the proposed resolution to adopt of Cafeteria Plan, including a Health Flexible Spending Account and Dependent Care Flexible Account, as agreed upon in collective bargaining agreements as recommended by the Comptroller.

10. Consider approving the following promotion: • Mikayla Holden from part-time EMT to full-time Paramedic

11. Consider approving the following appointments: •Jessica Hulsander Keyboard Specialist (Parks & Rec) • Alyssa Sweeney Keyboard Specialist (Building & Zoning) • Edward McDonnnell Part-time Custodial Worker (Senior Center) • Melissa King Part-time Custodial Worker (Town Hall)

12. Consider approving the budget modifications as recommended by the Fiscal Officer.

Supervisor's Updates

1. Coffee with the Planner Tuesday, April 12 starting at 8am at Town Hall

2. Town Hall closed on Friday, April 15 at 12:30pm Transfer Station closed on Saturday, April 16 at 11:30am

3. Household Hazardous Waste Disposal and Confidential Document Shredder Event Saturday, April 16 from 8am to 2pm at Highway Garage

4. 2022 National Prescription Drug Take Back Day Saturday, April 30 from 10am to 2pm at Guilderland Public Library

This meeting of the Town Board shall be held at the Guilderland Town Hall Board Room, 5209 Western Turnpike Guilderland, NY 12084 and the public is encouraged to attend.
