This will be the first of two public meetings for this project.

This project is a partnership of the Town of Guilderland and the University at Albany's Master of Regional Planning program to assess existing assets within the town, identify potential local and regional connections, and to explore cooperative opportunities or partnerships with other trails and open space organizations.

The goal of the project is to advance the development of multi-use trails linking residential neighborhoods to community destinations, and explore options in acquiring open space and parklands.  The UAlbany Planning Department's Graduate School is working with the Town to provide plans and recommendations for future trails and open space acquisitions.
