Following the open GCRG meeting the Steering Committee will have a private meeting.

The GCRG typically meets first and third Mondays of every month at 7:00 PM.  Due to the global coronavirus pandemic we are meeting virtually.  GCRG meetings are open to anyone who wishes to be involved and help support the group or just desires to have a better understanding of the development of the town.

The agenda for this meeting of the Town Board can be found here. There are 11 items for consideration:

• 1. Consider scheduling a public hearing for February 4, 2025 at 7pm on the draft Comprehensive Plan Update

• 2. Consider scheduling a public hearing for March 4, 2025 at 7pm on a proposed local law to impose a moratorium on land use development.

• 3. Consider authorizing the Town Planner to submit an application under a NYS Department of Environmental Conservation program for the adoption of a conservation overlay zoning district.

• 4. Consider accepting the Guilderland Conservation Advisory Council's 2024 annual report and forwarding it to the Commissioner of the Department of Environmental Conservation under NYS General Municipal Law § 239-x (1)(f).

• 5. Consider approving the 2021 financial audit, as recommended by the Town Comptroller and Fiscal Officer.

• 6. Consider approving amendments to the Town's 2024 and 2025 budget under NYS Town Law § 112, as recommended by the Fiscal Officer.

• 7. Consider awarding the contact for two fairway mowers and a turf grass sprayer to Cutting Green, LLC, the sole responsible bidder, or $94,395.00, as recommended by the Director of Golf.

• 8. Consider adopting a proposed resolution authorizing the funding of the costs for the replacement of the culvert over the Bozen Kill on Leesome Lane under the Bridge NY Program.

• 9. Consider appointing Heather Murphy to the Traffic Safety Committee.

• 10. Consider appointing Rebecca Alex as a Telecommunicator in the Police Department, as recommended by the Personnel Assistant.

• 11. Consider appointing Michael Drake as a laborer in the Department of Water & Waste Water Management, as recommended by the Personnel Assistant.
  
   

The agenda for this meeting of the Planning Board can be found here. There are 2 items for consideration:

• Site Plan Review Associated with a Special Use Permit - Expansion of Existing Storage/Distribution Facility - 2 Van Buren Blvd (Northeast Industrial Park) - Airgas USA, LLC

  The applicant is proposing to expand their existing storage/distribution facility to include two CO2 underground storage tanks, two above ground, nonflammable storage tanks, two offload rail towers, accessory building, additional concrete pad area and refrigeration unit on a 3 acre leased area within the 255 acre Northeast Industrial Park located in the Industrial District.

• Draft Comprehensive Plan Update - SEQR Coordinated Review - Town Board Adoption of Comprehensive Plan Update

  Introduction of the Draft Comprehensive Plan Update for Planning Board review and consideration of comments to be forwarded to the Town Board as part of their adoption of the Comprehensive Plan Update.  No action will be taken at the January 22nd meeting by the Planning Board. The purpose of the meeting is to introduce the Draft Comprehensive Plan Update to the Planning Board and allow time for Board review and comments to be prepared and considered at a future meeting.
